What can I do for free?+
Keep one active cat, the Daily log (every entry kept, with a 30-day view), care records, reminders and calendar, a photo journal, PDF and CSV exports, a Mist keepsake card, and backup and restore. Owner Plus and Cattery are optional.
Can I use it without an internet connection?+
Yes. Cat profiles, care records, the Daily log, photo journal and local reminders work on your iPhone. App Store purchases, restoring purchases and some sharing or iCloud Drive actions need a connection.
Does it give medical advice?+
No. Purrs & Days records your observations and the care dates you choose. It does not score symptoms, diagnose conditions or recommend treatment. Talk to your vet about anything that worries you.
Are my photos posted anywhere?+
No. There is no public profile or social feed. You choose what to share and where it goes through your iPhone’s share sheet.
What if I change or lose my iPhone?+
Create a recordbook backup in Files and keep a copy away from the phone, such as in your own iCloud Drive. Restore that file on your new iPhone. Recordbooks do not automatically sync between devices. Backups contain photos and notes and are not password-protected.
Have a dog and a cat?+
Paws & Days is for dogs and Purrs & Days is for cats; separate apps with separate recordbooks on your iPhone. Each app has its own plans, so a purchase in one doesn’t unlock the other.
When can I download it?+
Purrs & Days is being prepared for iPhone running iOS 18 or later. We’ll add the App Store link here when it is released.
